It's not officially summer until June.
But it's certainly a scorcher for much of the East coast this afternoon as the record-breaking heatwave transportation from staten island to newark airport Memorial Day continues.
Millions sweated their way back to work this morning as the mercury shot up to a balmy 94F in some places and it's set to stay hot through to Thursday.

It may remain scorching but there's also some nasty weather to come for the East coast tomorrow.
Severe thunderstorms are pegged for the region with gusts over 30mph due to hit New York and New England.
Today heat advisories were issued across the Eastern seaboard and into the Southern states warning of the risk of heat stroke and severe sunburn.
