I felt absolutely compelled to share my terrible shopping experience online as a warning to others. I wasted time and energy only to be completely shut down due to misleading information. The core issue is exactly what I wrote in my review, and it summarizes my direct conclusion about the store's operations:
"On the web page it’s states it closes at 9pm the doors was locked I approached the door 8:15 the manger stated report him that the boss told him to close at 8/8:30 might I add I was there by 8:15 asking can I come in the guy who was downstairs just walked away and went upstairs stating on a website you close at 9pm and decide to close at 8 is false advertisement and their was ppl still shopping while I asked for access at 308 w125th."
That blatant disregard for advertised hours and customer time is why I immediately needed to contact customer service to seek clarification and resolution.
Customer: I need to speak to someone about the store hours at 308 W125th Street. I arrived at 8:15 PM tonight, well before the 9 PM closing time listed on your website, only to find the doors locked.
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the frustrating experience you had. That is certainly unacceptable, and I understand why you feel that this is false advertising.
Customer: It is false advertising! I wasted time getting there based on your published hours. I was told the manager closed early, even though people were still shopping inside. Why are you listing 9 PM if staff is authorized to lock up an hour earlier?
CS Rep: I completely understand your anger. We are reviewing this specific incident immediately with the store management team at that location. We will also escalate the request to ensure either the online advertised hours are corrected instantly, or the store strictly adheres to the 9 PM closing time going forward.
Customer: So what assurance do I have that if I try to visit tomorrow night, I won't be locked out again? I need a clear confirmation of when I can actually shop there without my time being wasted.
CS Rep: I am documenting your complaint fully and flagging the management for immediate follow-up regarding the closure policy. We will have an answer and clear instructions sent out to the store within the next 12 hours to prevent this type of confusion.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
