President Karl Slatoff also mentioned that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have an "all-new online experience," but declined to provide more information about it. The wording seems to indicate that the online feature of the game will be in some way different from Grand Theft Auto Online, but at the moment we have no idea

Red Dead Redemption II’s landscapes seem representative speaking of the feelings pulled up from a game like The Witcher 3 by how one plays in them. The Witcher 3 presented a blend of main storyline with endless possibilities of getting sidetracked in an open world out of curiosity. The opening shot during the credits followed up by the mountain side view says it all. As Breath of the Wild did when it showcased its open world, RDRII is showing these places to say ‘go there!’ Don’t worry RDRII, we will. When people think of the West/Frontier, it’s usually the setting of the first Red Dead Redemption. RDRII is presenting a landscape that will be exciting to explore. North America has a landscape that is gorgeous giving to views that are cause to stop and soak it in. It'll be refreshing to visit something familiar even if alien to the present timeline. Anyone who has hiked into North American wilderness will know this feeling immediately.
New York, NY - May 5, 2010 - Rockstar Games, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), is proud to announce the ‘Outlaws To The End’ Co-Op multiplayer Mission Pack for Red Dead Redemption. Available FREE this June simultaneously for Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation® Network, this brand new co-op mode adds an entirely new dimension to Red Dead Redemption’s game p
Playing RDR2 in first-person could mean a world of difference for the very world. As mentioned, the west of Red Dead Redemption 2 is massive and seeing some of the vistas that litter every corner of this game are sure to be breathtaking. It’s that feeling of going on a good hike only to come up over whatever ridge and be swept away by what lays just over that horizon line. The world of RDR2 looks to be vastly versatile with mountains, plains, swamps and deserts. Traveling through the world of RDR2 in first-person is sure to be even more breathtaking than having to watch the butt-end of a horse as it poops. Not that there is anything wrong with the level of detail Rockstar is going for, but at least you won’t have to watch your horse do the business. Kidding aside, again, like GTAV when brought to first-person there was something much more tangible present in making ones’ way through the world. Being on the ground level of it all while interacting with all of it feels quite different than traveling through that same world in third-person.
As if this already sweet piece of video game pie couldn't possibly get any better, Rockstar turns around and announces its first DLC. Usually, announcements like these piss me off to the core, especially when publishers are trying to hit gamers up for more bread right after they spent 60 bucks on the title alone. However, Rockstar is about to hook us all up with Co-op goodness available for download on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in June at the same time for the price of free. "Outlaws to the End" is the name of the expansion and it allows for 2-4 players to join up online and take on 6 additional missions in the game. Check out some descriptions as well as new screens from some of the missions be
