I dealt with glasses too tight on nose pain for months before I figured out what was wrong. Red marks, constant discomfort, and headaches were my daily reality. The solution turned out to be simpler than I expected.
The problem was the bridge width. My glasses had a 16mm bridge, but my nose actually needed 18mm minimum. Those 2mm made all the difference between comfort and constant pain.
I measured my nose bridge properly and bought frames with an 18mm bridge width. The difference was immediate - no more pain, no more marks, just comfortable all-day wear.
If you have metal frames with adjustable nose pads, an optician can adjust them. But if you have plastic frames like I do, you need the right bridge width from the start.
Use a ruler to measure across the bridge of your nose at its narrowest point. That's the minimum bridge width you need. I recommend going 1-2mm wider for comfort.
Don't suffer with tight glasses. The right bridge width makes wearing glasses painless.
