The Prophecy Dungeon is accessed in the Destiny 2 Tower. Upon launch, the dungeon begins aboard The Drifter's ship. Entering the teleporter will bring the fire team to the realm of The Nine, and they'll be immediately met by Taken Thralls and Taken Knights in a long pathway. Additionally, small streaks of light and dark energy will surround the player's screen depending on whether or not the Guardian is in the light or shadows, respectively. Destroying the Sanctified Mind's shoulder in Destiny 2 will spawn a red portal, and the leg will spawn a blue portal. It's best to destroy these parts one at a time because Cyclops will spawn every time a portal spawns. Too many Cyclops can become easily overwhelming in this encounter because they each have clear vantage points over the entire Fireteam. Follow the stairway inside the final structure of Prophecy to a triangular arena. Place a Raid Banner down to replenish all ammo and abilities, and seek Toland in the middle of the arena. Touching him begins the encounter, spawning Taken Psions, Strand Tangle DPS Knights, and three Taken Fallen Captains in each corner of the arena. In front of each Captain is a structure emitting energy. Defeat the Knight to get the need motes, deactivate the energy forcing the Captain out of protection, and defeat the Captain. After shooting the correct circles, the Boss Team can return to the center area and await for Destiny 2 's Consecrated Mind to relocate to another hallway. They'll repeat the same process, only this time a new member has to pick up the Voltaic Overflow. As aforementioned, picking up the effect twice before it runs out will kill the teammate. Additionally, if no one picks up the effect the whole Fireteam will wipe. There will be one point where all three members of the Boss Team have the effect, and one person needs to switch with a member of the Conflux Team - preferably the person who went third since they have the longest remaining effect t
Once in the damage phase, the Consecrated Mind will be extremely vulnerable in its eye. It will also back up to the original starting point. Follow it and continue to do damage, as a barrier will soon spawn at the beginning of the hallway, preventing any damage from being done. The whole team can make it beyond the barrier before it spawns but should wait until the Consecrated Mind makes it beyond the next staircase. If the barrier spawns try jumping between the barrier on the left or right sides attaching to the wall to get by it. Destiny 2 's Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun is a great weapon for this boss fight because it fires rapidly and puts out high damage. Deep Defense is the final Trivial Mystery to complete in Destiny 2 Season of the Lost week one. Head towards the rock the is just before the rock with the portal leading to the final boss. Face the portal, then turn 180 degrees to view the small complex. There are a lot of Taken that will have to be clear out first, but after they're dead head straight towards the back following the image above. They'll be even easier to defeat once the Gjallarhorn is in Destiny 2 . At the very end is a dark trail that will have to be jumped down on in order to reach the path
The fight against the Sanctified Mind takes place in a crescent-shaped arena. Floating over the lake of Vex milk is the Sanctified Mind, and the encounter will start once it is shot. This encounter will divide up the Fireteam into three groups of two at the start, but as the damage phase draws near those roles will evolve into individually designated zones. These three teams will be Portal Team One, Portal Team Two, and the Conflux Team. The beginning of the encounter starts with enemy clearing and avoiding fire from the Sanctified Mind. Take out the Angelic enemy that spawns quickly with a powerful weapon like Destiny 2's Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun , and two damageable spots on the boss will spawn - one on his shoulder and one on his
