For the team that has Riven spawn in first, dodge her tentacle swing and fire breathing attacks. While dodging, shoot the tentacle and the inside of her mouth to get her to flinch. The Destiny 2 's Xenophage Exotic Machine Gun is a great choice for making Riven flinch throughout the Last Wish raid. When Riven flinches, her outer shell will open up to reveal her eyes. Two of the ten eyes will be glowing, and armor 3.0 changes it's up to this team to remember and call out which eyes are glowing for the other team. Follow the stairway inside the final structure of Prophecy to a triangular arena. Place a Raid Banner down to replenish all ammo and abilities, and seek Toland in the middle of the arena. Touching him begins the encounter, spawning Taken Psions, Knights, and three Taken Fallen Captains in each corner of the arena. In front of each Captain is a structure emitting energy. Defeat the Knight to get the need motes, deactivate the energy forcing the Captain out of protection, and defeat the Captain. At the end of the pathway are two platforms, one emitting dark energy, and the other light. Five light motes and five dark motes must be gathered in order to make the energy signatures disappear. Defeating a Taken Knight in Destiny 2 spawns three motes, so two of the Knights must be defeated in order to get the necessary amount of motes. Once enough of the motes are gathered head to the appropriate energy signature and press the "fire weapon" action to rid the platform of the energy. While this part of The Prophecy dungeon allows players to respawn, and death will force all gathered emotes to disappear. This procedure will unlock a door leading to another pathway, repeating this part once more. Two members of the Conflux Team will head towards the Conflux, while the third looks for a Vex Minotaur that will drop motes once defeated. Grab the motes, and return to the Conflux. Deposit them to temporarily earn the Enlightened buff. This will allow that teammate to defeat the enemies with immune shields. There are only a few of them, they cannot be allowed to reach the Conflux. These Vex Goblins will sacrifice at the Conflux, causing a wipe. As the Enlightened teammate deals with the immune enemies, another is looking for the next Minotaur to grab motes from. Additionally, all teammates should destroy the Succulents as soon as possible, since they explode when close to a Guardian. The Salvager's Salvo Grenade Launcher is perfect for this. After the first Beacon is aligned, leave the church and head left towards the hill. There will be a clear passageway up the hill that requires some jumping to reach the top, leading into the ruins of the destroyed building seen above. When the final portion of Riven's health bar is reached the whole Fireteam will be transported to a Taken Realm that damages each player slowly over time. Navigate through the pathway until the single orb of Taken Strength is reached. Grab the orb, and all six Fireteam members will be teleported back to the throne room, even the ones that may have died along the way. Riven will reappear in the throne room, and she needs to be shot in the mouth until she looks like she is dead ( Destiny 2 's Ascendancy Rocket Launcher will finisher her quickly). Travel inside her body through her mouth until her heart is reached. Destroy her heart, and this Last Wish raid encounter finally ends.
