In general, Magic Glintblade and Rock Sling should be more than enough to make your Moonveil Katana build more effective. Magic Glintblade should be cast before entering combat, or during lulls, while Rock Sling is great if an enemy can be easily staggered or is resistant to Magic damage.
Meanwhile, the whole area is also a prime spot for subtle and minimalistic lore exposition. There are tons of Clayman enemies and ants in Ainsel River. As a reward, players also get a glimpse of the Lake of Rot (albeit inaccessible) as a precedent of the worse things to c
Getting to Crumbling Farum Azula is part of the main quest. Players will simply have to defeat the Fire Giant in the Mountaintops of the Giants and light up Melina in the giant kiln. This will transport players to the Crumbling Farum Az
Eclipse Crest Greatshield : Aside from not being the most exciting shield visually, the Eclipse Crest Greatshield may just be the best shield in Elden Ring . A low weight of 15.0 allows most builds to wield it easily, it blocks 72% of Magic damage , and has a high guard boost of 67, meaning that less stamina is drained per hit absorbed. On top of all this, the Eclipse Crest Greatshield also passively adds 50 points to the user's Immunity, Robustness, and Fo
Gilded Greatshield : Another shield that can be infuriatingly difficult to farm, the Gilded Greatshield is otherwise a pretty good shield, having decent elemental damage negation, strong Fire and Holy resistance, and a relatively high guard boost. Like most Greatshields, it's notably weak against Lightning damage. Additionally, its hefty Strength requirement makes it a poor choice for early-game farming. By the time players have the stats to wield it, more appealing options are likely availa
Ainsel River is where players start getting a glimpse of the vastness of Elden Ring 's underground area. It's a Legacy Dungeon that supplements the underground wonders brought about by Siofra River (a semi-open-world area). Ainsel River is sprawling, cryptic, and oppressive thanks to a certain mini-boss that's hard to k
An Uchigatana or side Wakizashi will prove invaluable for the dual-wield setup until these end-game Katanas are available . Just be sure to equip Moonveil in the right hand to be able to use the Transient Moonlight Ash of War.
This essentially unlocks Elden Ring 's multiplayer into a complete experience. At the time of writing, the mod is in its testing phases; the game isn't done yet with its updates and patches, after all. So players should expect some bugs and glitches associated with using this
As for weapon choice, the Eleonora's Poleblade does well against single enemies, but struggles against groups; use the katana or spear for those. The spear does well against massive enemies with exploitable blindspots, such as dragons, but its weapon art leaves the user exposed to smaller enemies/bosses with a high stagger threshold. The katana is good overall, so it’ll probably be one’s weapon of choice more often than not. Its drawback is that it leaves the user exposed if it doesn’t either kill or stagger the target with the opening series of slashes. In short, consider the enemy’s strengths and weaknesses and choose accordingly. The same goes for the Ash summons and the tears used in the Wondrous Physick. This build isn’t a guaranteed win every time, but it should make many encounters go much more easily once one gets used to it. So, why not give it a shot?
The Warrior Jar Shard (and the Shard of Alexander) greatly increase the damage that weapon skills and Ashes of War can deal. The Godfrey Icon enhances charged Spells and Skills, too. These two combined can do much to increase the damage output of Moonveil, but ultimately the boosts to FP reduction and Bleed damage will prove more useful in more situations.
Redmane Greatshield : Boasting some of the best Fire damage resistance of any Greatshield, the Redmane Greatshield is another great option, especially for builds that aren't looking for a heavier shield due to its moderate weight of 14. With its distinctive design, the Redmane Greatshield resembles a giant fang and bears the crest of a red-maned lion. The only real issue with this great-looking shield is that it can take some time to f
Compared to FromSoftware's previous games, combat in Elden Ring Nightreign player decline Ring is vastly more fast-paced, fluid, and responsive. Players used to Dark Souls 1 combat will find their expectations shattered by how quickly the player can move in response to commands. Clever's movesets take this faster pace to a whole new le
Spells that deal AoE damage, like the Rotten Breath Incantation or Meteorite Sorcery, are useful to Moonveil users too, though they do require more careful stat planning. Rock Sling is a classic among Magic-wielders for its impressive ability to break enemy posture with Physical damage, not Magic damage, which can give a good opportunity for a series of attacks when you successfully stagger an enemy.
