Other enemies from the original Resident Evil 3 game, including Brain Suckers, Drain Demos, Zombie Dogs, and even a Tyrant T-103 have not yet been confirmed. However, there is no strong reason to believe any of them would be excluded from Resident Evil 3 Remake , especially when considering that Resident Evil 2 Remake remained fairly faithful to its original adapt

In the remake of Resident Evil 2, this walking, moving, humanoid form of the creature was absent, and instead, Plant 43 was a giant genetically engineered plant in the east wing of Umbrella's NEST facility, but was dormant and did not actually attack the player. Instead, it infected corpses and zombies, creating human and plant hybrids called Ivy Zombies, which was a new enemy-type in Resident Evil 2 Rem

When Capcom went back to the drawing board while remaking Resident Evil 2, it made complete sense. The original three games revolved around outdated game design, favoring restrictive tank controls and a fixed viewpoint instead of allowing players to pilot both their character and camera with relative ease. Instead of fully altering the world, story, or characters (all the elements which fans loved about Resident Evil 2), the remake restructures the game's obsolete design and transforms it into a horror experience built to thrive in 20

Starting with the new enemy type that was cut from the game, and neither was it ever in the original, is the Condemned (above right). It is a humanoid enemy type, and its concept art can be unlocked within the game by finishing the Genius Chemist record, which is achieved by completing the puzzle in the Drug Testing Lab in a total of 9 moves in Leon or Claire's st

This type of design would seemingly work best in a more open world exploration and non-linear map layout of Raccoon City, contrary to Resident Evil 2 's remake and all other Resident Evil games thus far, which could be fairly unique. It would make sense to have Jill moving around the streets of a Raccoon City hub-map utilizing different methods of avoiding the Nemesis as it tries to stalk her. The Nemesis may have his own arsenal of tracking methodologies , which sounds similar to the way in which the developers describe the enemy as having actual "ways" of tracking

Hunters were created as Bio-Weapons in Resident Evil with the purpose of unleashing them into environments in order to kill off the remaining minorities among human populations. These were roughly 10% of humans who were naturally immune to the T-Virus, or at least the current strain of the T-Virus at the time, in the early 1980's when the Hunters were crea

More likely, if it is not a new enemy type, then it is probably the Hunter Y. The Hunter Y is a different version of the Hunter enemy that is different from the Hunter Betas, which uses reptilian DNA bonded with human embryos. The Hunter Y is created by bonding human DNA with a fertilized amphibian egg, and applying the original T-Virus as the bonding agent, similarly. Hunter Ys were also created much later in Resident Evil's timeline, having been engineered in 1998, the same year as the Raccoon City outbr

Another insight worth noting from the new trailer is the scene of Jill looking in the mirror while she is seemingly ill and infected. We can assume this is probably after the point that her and Carlos rest in the church for some time, after the Nemesis infects her with the T-Virus. To some close observing fans, it can seem peculiar how much time went by in the actual timeline between Jill resting in the church before Resident Evil 2 began, and October 1st, when the Resident Evil 3 gameplay timeline resumed and Carlos set out to find a cure for Jill in the hospi

The Hunter Beta, or just Hunter B, was a Bio-Organic Weapon developed by Umbrella Europe as part of the broader Hunter group of creatures created. Hunters are genetically-engineered by gratfting reptilian DNA to fertilized human embryos which are infused with the T-Virus, the latter of which both mutates and bonds the DNA of the two spec

Furthermore, there are a few clues which may reveal a much more expansive version of Raccoon City's outdoor maps to explore. For example, the Collector's Edition of Resident Evil 3 's remake comes with an entire map of Raccoon City in detail. It also states it is a double sided map. While nothing is certain, one side could be a version of Downtown Raccoon City, and the other could be a more detailed map of Uptown, both of which were the outdoor maps in the original game in a much smaller size at the t

image.php?image=b19scripts009.jpg&dl=1If the aforementioned monsters are included in the game, their modern rebirth should certainly be expected to deliver in fright and gruesomeness given the graphical high-note of Capcom's Resident Evil remakes. Perhaps, at this point in time, it is best to wait just a few more weeks and enjoy the element of surprise in regards to what enemies may or may not present themselves, as Resident Evil 3 Remake unleashes itself digitally and on store shelves on Apri
