These aren’t exactly mandatory, but they do pair well with the above weapons. So, for starters, try to get the Shard of Alexander talisman, as it gives a big buff to the attack power of weapon skills. It can be obtained at the conclusion of Iron Fist Alexander’s questline. Next is the Lord of Blood's Exultation talisman, which increases attack power if blood loss is inflicted upon an enemy. This can be won from Esgar, Priest of Blood in the Leyndell Catacombs . Okay, so now that most of the bosses have been defeated and most of the dungeons have been found and looted, the only thing left to do is spend all those extra runes at the Twin Maiden Husks Shop in Roundtable Hold. All bell bearings (and the items they unlock) are lost upon starting new game plus, so it's best to buy up as many rare consumables, materials and smithing stones as possible before starting that next run. New game plus is all about playing around with new weapons and such, and it's much easier to do that with a well-stocked inventory. Don't worry about banking runes, there will be plenty more of them in the next run. The best thing to do now is spend 'em!

It's obviously a pretty 'lame' way of getting this weapon, but not everyone wants to do entire NPC questlines for a singular weapon. Additionally, for those of you on NG+ runs or on new characters, this method is understandably less involved and easier to do. In any case, if someone agrees to the 'trade', players can create a private game and have someone else drop their spare or unwanted Nagakiba katana in-game.
