Updated August 13, 2024 by Erik Petrovich : Now that the Elden Ring Nightreign update Ring DLC has been out for a while, it's no secret that General Radahn makes a return at the end of the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, as Miquella's consort, and as the final boss. His new armor set and weapons can be purchased after defeating this version of Radahn, and this guide has been updated to reflect these new Elden Ring General Radahn build options. The Starscourge cosplay wouldn't be complete without a series of Gravity-based attacks, too, so this guide has been updated to also include some new recommendations on the best spells and Ashes of War for the best General Radahn build Elden Ring players can put together.
While wielding any of General Radahn's three associated weapons you will be able to replicate other attacks from his Caelid boss fight and the encounter at the end of Shadow of the Erdtree . His normal Starscourge Greatsword uses Gravity magic, while the Promised Consort weapons both implement Holy damage.

As for Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear, they’ll have to travel to Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum and defeat the Lord of Blood himself in order to get his weapon. All of these weapons are not necessary to have on hand, but they make for a nice range of options. Of the three, though, Rivers of Blood is the most usable, so go for that one at the very least. Of course, these will all need to be upgraded in order to get the full effect.
Night's Cavalry appear depending on the time of day too, but they're always seen at night. All of them either drop their signature armor/weapons or valuable Ashes of War like the Bloodhounds Step. The final two Night's Cavalry encountered in Consecrated Snowfield even leave an extra Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone for players who manage to defeat them. These aren’t exactly mandatory, but they do pair well with the above weapons. So, for starters, try to get the Shard of Alexander talisman, as it gives a big buff to the attack power of weapon skills. It can be obtained at the conclusion of Iron Fist Alexander’s questline. Next is the Lord of Blood's Exultation talisman, which increases attack power if blood loss is inflicted upon an enemy. This can be won from Esgar, Priest of Blood in the Leyndell Catacombs . Another handy talisman is the Godfrey Icon ; this one buffs charged spells and skills.
This way, Agheel will be doing all the farming for the players. Any attack the dragon does has friendly fire (no pun intended) and will damage all the smaller enemies. The hard part is trying to dodge all the flame and those pesky ranged attacks from crabs but that should be manageable with Torr

Deathbirds (and Death Rite Birds) are worth taking-out for two reasons: they're too ugly to be left alive, and they give all sorts of interesting loot. Some drop weapons, others drop shields, while still others drop talismans and other stuff. It's worth hunting down all eight monstrously hideous birds, but encountering them often depends on the time of day.
Having completed each of these steps, the time to start new game plus will have arrived. After clearing all available bosses, acquiring all available gear/spells/incantations and stocking up on rare items, The Tarnished should be all set for another, hopefully much smoother, journey through The Lands Between. One more tip: go and immediately wreck Grafted Scion, Tree Sentinel, Flying Dragon Agheel and Margit the Fell Omen. Paying them back in full for all the early game pain suffered at their hands is beyond satisfying.
Consecrated Snowfield is something of a special case. Two Night's Cavalry will be guarding a Hearse near the Inner Consecrated Snowfield grace. Both riders must be defeated to get the drops. They leave the Night's Cavalry armor and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone, so seek them out.
General Radahn's armor is only unlockable after defeating the Starscourge, and his greatsword and bow can only be unlocked by trading in his Remembrance with Enia. To purchase the full Radahn armor set, speak with Enia after the battle to find each piece (head, chest, legs, hands) for sale. They are very heavy but very protective, so be sure you have points in Endurance to be able to dodge roll.
