Imagine Rocket League, but the cars are Lúcios, and you get the idea. You have to boop your way through the stadium and push the ball with your gun (or fist), and score a goal against the enemy team with the gigantic ball. It's a nice change of pace, being rather different compared to most game mo
It's soon going to be a month since overwatch 2 updates 2024|Https://Overwatch2tactics.com/ 2 launched, and like with any class based multiplayer shooter, balancing is always being worked on. However, even though it's not been too long since launch, players are already starting to complain that regardless of updates, certain Heroes are still imbalanced and waiting periods are too long. It has also already had its fair amount of controversy, and that's rarely ever a good th
Patches are par for the course in gaming these days. While your live-service behemoths are always tinkering with the meta, keeping gameplay fresh, and fixing all the bugs those first two fixes cause, even the smallest single-player titles come with constant post-launch care these days. Day one patch is now the norm, and while games like Cyberpunk 2077 which launch in historically unacceptable states benefit greatly from devs now being able to fix things in the wild, it’s unlikely Cyberpunk would have launched at all if the studio knew it would be stuck with what it had. On the whole, patches offer a safety net that’s good to the industry, but it sometimes feels like they take away a game’s personal
This is perhaps one of the weirdest bugs you've ever seen. We've all been disconnected from games before, that's nothing new; however, D.Va players have been experiencing a very unusual phenomenon that's hard to expl
So, it seems Blizzard has sent out a survey to a few players to ask them what they think of the microtransactions , and why they haven't spent any money yet. They're mostly multiple choice questions asking players why they primarily bought the Premium Battle Pass, and to elaborate on the reasoning if they've not bought anything at
"Do not let your children play Overwatch 2," said a Twitter user who came across this. "My 12 year old son found custom games within it, one called 'Sexual Harassment' and one game that simulated the female characters being raped. Thankfully my son realized it was bad, closed the game, and told me. Don't pl
Unfortunately, you don't have a lot of control over these modes. The special modes from the other events appear in the Arcade menu, but they appear at random and only change every 24 hours. You can't really control which one to search for and have to wait for the one you like to appear when the rotation chan
Overwatch 2, however, is facing a unique issue, where the queue times for DPS and Tank are over ten minutes , but only around two minutes if you pick Support. It seems that nobody wants to help their team out from the sideli
Everything must be realistic, atmospheric, and other vague adjectives taken from focus groups and written on white boards. It might remain as a callback, but if it does it will be an exception to the rule. Any of these sorts of things left in by mistake tend to be taken out immediately because players having fun in their own way isn’t part of the developers’ vision. Any way you find to exploit something, even in a single-player experience where no one else is impacted, is viewed as a mistake to be fi
Whether I bother in competitive with support is up in the air right now. It’s still a headache dealing with angry and ungrateful teammates who splinter across the map and somehow expect to get healed all at once, but at least now I’m enjoying the role again. The rush of scrambling to a critical marker to fill up their health bar while fighting back enemies is exhilarating in a way you just don’t feel with DPS, and the key role you play in ensuring your team’s survival is a wholly unique responsibility. I doubt I’ll ever be a Mercy main again or voluntarily choose healer with my friends when Roadhog and Orisa are right there for the taking, but at least I know that if I gotta pick healer, I have someone I’ll actually enjoy play
I think it's pretty clear that nobody likes microtransactions. Mostly because introducing them to a game, especially one that's free-to-play, often results in progression being skewed to compensate for it. Overwatch 2 surely has some of those issues, with Coins taking too long to unlock, resulting in players having to spend real money to unlock new sk
As the first seasonal event released for Overwatch, Summer Games was the benchmark created on what to even expect from such events, featuring many exclusive skins and a unique game mode for itself. Most skins here are great as well, and it has a very fun mode called Lúcio Ball. The Summer Games tend to happen in August, sometimes starting at the end of J
In the run-up to the Resident Evil 4 remake, fans have been sharing their favourite Easter Eggs online. The game was full of strange little quirks, both accidental and deliberate. After the mine cart section, there’s a skull which, when interacted with, will give you piles and piles of money. Some claim these are the takings from the enemies slain in the aforementioned cart level, others that the money was there regardless. I’m not sure if it will be back in the remake, but I’m leaning towards ‘no’ - it just seems a bit too silly for games these days to keep
